Online concert: Young Artists of the Winter Concert Series: Lore Amenabar Larrañaga

This concert depicts Lore Amenabar Larrañaga’s journey as an eighteen-year-old student at the University of the Arts Helsinki to a present day PhD candidate at the Royal Academy of Music London.

We will comply with coronavirus restrictions

Due to the prevailing coronavirus restrictions, concerts that were planned to be held at the Helsinki Music Centre have been cancelled from the public until 15 February 2022. A maximum of 50 people are admitted to concerts held at the R Building. Seats will be filled in order of arrival. The covid-19 pass is not used. Ticketmaster Finland is responsible for returning tickets. Read more about returning the tickets.

We will comply with the Agency’s guidelines, and the concerts will be arranged live in a safe manner as soon as possible.

You can watch a free live stream of the concert on Youtube, 3 February, 19–19:50.

As the Sibelius Academy welcomes those who are at the infancy of their musical journey, it must also bid farewell to those who will continue theirs in a professional capacity. Two Finnish pieces performed on the classical accordion will precede three world premières performed on a self-designed quarter-tone accordion, as such, representing my growth as an artist, as well as Larrañaga’s transition towards microtonality; towards the blue buttons.
