Shift happens – the power of policy & tools for navigating change

Join the discussion on how communities can mitigate impacts of major policy changes underway in Finland and how to influence future policies.

Major policy changes in Finland impact livelihoods, rights, and opportunities. This event demystifies policy-making, governance, and citizen/resident rights—and explores how communities can mitigate impacts and influence future policies.

Listen to and discuss with experts who have deep insights into policy-making and governance “behind the scenes” with speakers Jenni Ala-Peijari (Programme Specialist, Sitra), Rima Refka (City Councillor), Anna Bruun (Ministerial Adviser, Labour Migration and Integration, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment).

This event builds on previous sessions on Integration, Immigration, and Arts & Culture.

The event is organised by the Theatre Academy’s international alumni network TIAN in collaboration with Think Africa and Globe Art Point, as part of the Think Africa Week.
