Savanoma
Savánoman (σαβάνωμαν): a word used in the Cypriot dialect to describe the process of dressing up and preparing a body for burial.in-between-ness, where Rallis explores how healing of trauma unfolds in time but is non-linear, and how ancestral pain remains present in oppressed, non-conforming bodies, even as it is not disclosed.

With main axes such as non-assimilation, militant queerness, anti-white supremacy and anti-colonialism Savanoma, is a durational performance that utters languages left unspoken and words, overtly used. By conversing through dance, black metal and transformation, this work revolves around different possibilities of becoming. In an array of rituals based on personal, temporal signal-posts and in-between-ness, George Rallis and their working group, will examine areas of healing as non-linear, ancestral pain as non-disclosed and processes of trauma as encaged within time.in-between-ness, where Rallis explores how healing of trauma unfolds in time but is non-linear, and how ancestral pain remains present in oppressed, non-conforming bodies, even as it is not disclosed.
