Mus!!Kk!A – LAINE: Dreamscapes
The concert opens the gateway to the depths of the dream world through the musical vision of guitarist-composer Markus Laine. Each note is like a key to hidden doors that lead us into our own interpretation of dream phases. The entirety is like a dreamlike tapestry, where sounds and moving images converge to create a captivating and mysterious world. In the concert, listeners will enjoy elements of progressive rock, fusion, and electronic music to their heart’s content.
The concert is built upon Markus Laine’s own fusion jazz compositions and arrangements, where Markus has particularly embodied the guitar playing aesthetics of Scott Henderson and Oz Noy. The concert culminates in Markus Laine’s debut work LAINE: DREAMSCAPES, which will also be released on streaming platforms for everyone to hear on May 10, 2024. Markus will donate all streaming royalties to Mieli Mental Health Finland.

Access to the Musiikkitalo from the direction of Mannerheimintie will be difficult. We recommend that you allow enough time for your arrival and use the entrance on the side of Kansalaistori if possible. According to current information, the entrance to Mannerheimintie will also remain in use throughout the renovation, but pedestrian routes can be challenging at times.
