Forgotten women
Being overshadowed by their male colleagues has been the unjust lot of female composers, which is why we have chosen to perform their works.
The programme of this concert mainly consists of works which are not known, which have not been recorded, and whose sheet music is difficult to come by. The works nevertheless have a place in the field of Western art music and deserve to be performed and experienced.
