Alumni meeting of the Academy of Fine Arts
Alumni of the Academy of Fine Arts! Want to meet your former fellow students and hear what’s up at the Academy of Fine Arts?
Welcome to the alumni meeting at the new Mylly building of the University of the Arts Helsinki on Wednesday 6 April from 5 pm to 8.30 pm!
The program begins with an Ac/kademie discussion, an international hybrid event where invited residency artists discuss their artistic processes. The conversation series is organized by the renowned post academic organisations Jan van Eyck Academie and Rijksakademie van beeldende Kunsten. The discussion event will be held as a physical gathering at Rijksakademie in Amsterdam and in Mylly at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki. Ac/kademie talks are part of the Academy of Fine Arts’ International Incubators in Fine Arts project supported by the Saastamoinen Foundation.
The alumni meeting will begin after the Ac/kademie discussion, you may also attend directly to the meeting at 6.30 p.m. if you wish. The alumni meeting will include mingling, networking and casual socializing with some finger food and drinks served. We want to map out what kind of wishes and needs alumni have after graduation, what alumni activities we could develop together.
