Students studying at Ukrainian universities and degree students who have received asylum from Ukraine and whose studies have been interrupted due to the war can apply for the right to pursue non-degree studies free of charge at Uniarts Helsinki during the 2023–2024 academic year. The application deadline is 12 May 2023 and studies will begin next autumn.

The right to complete studies at the academies is awarded based on what stage of studies the student is at and based on the student’s previously completed studies. The right to complete non-degree studies gives the right to complete individual courses, but not a full degree. In principle, studies are offered as part of the English-language teaching of the academies.
