Speculative Sound Synthesis Workshop: Final works
Student works as results of the workshop from 7th to 12th June

This concert presents works developed by participants in the workshop
”Speculative Sound Synthesis.”
In three performances, the workshop participants will showcase their
speculative approaches to sound synthesis, performance, and discourse.
Each participant, departing from their personal practice, engaged in a
collective musical and thought process, daring to venture into unknown
and experimental artistic and conceptual territories.
The workshop included 11 students from the ”Music Technology” program
at UniArts and the ”Computer Music and Sound Arts” program at the
Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics in Graz, Austria.
This workshop was organized as part of the ”Speculative Sound
Synthesis” artistic research project, funded by the Austrian Science
Fund within the Programme for Arts-based Research (PEEK) – PEEK AR
713-G. It is hosted by the Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics
(IEM) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.
