Mutefest 2026: MuTe Fair
Have you ever wondered what students in the Music Technology Department actually do?
Come hang out in Agora, discover the world of MuTe, and meet some wonderfully creative and nerdy people!
MuTe Fair is a relaxed, welcoming event that brings the Music Technology Department and its students into the spotlight. The afternoon is all about meeting people, exchanging ideas, and having fun together, with conversations, quizzes, and the legendary MuTe Kitchen Mario Kart making its way into Agora for everyone to play!
The fair begins at 13:00, with the main event starting at 15:00, when the fantastic live funk band Toad’s Funk Factory takes the stage to perform Mario Kart music while you play the game!
Whether you already know MuTe or have no idea what happens in the department, everyone is welcome to join!
MuTe Fair is part of MuTeFest 2026, the biennial festival organised by the Sibelius Academy’s Music Technology Department at Uniarts Helsinki, celebrating artistic experimentation, collaboration, and the creative possibilities of music technology.
Changes are possible.
