Global Spring: Golden Crossroads
The concert has a limited number of seats, and they will be filled on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Some seats are reserved for school groups.
This inspiring transcultural ensemble brings together musicians from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds. Focusing on the process of intercultural dialogue and collaboration, the musicians explore diverse musical ideas, approaches, and liminal spaces to create their own unique form of musical expression.
”Music is like alchemy. We are like alchemists, turning our different cultures into musical gold.”
Golden Crossroads is an ensemble exploring the intersections of global traditions, improvisation, and contemporary expression. Their work focuses on the idea of “crossroads” — spaces where different musical languages meet and evolve — creating performances that are both rooted and open-ended.
In Global Spring they present a repertoire consisting of their original compositions and arrangements. The concert is full of emotions and reflections that have shaped and continue to shape the journey of these nine young artists united by music. Come and be part of the journey!
