Global fest: Biográfico
“Biográfico is about everything I have been, everything I have left behind, who I am today, and who I am yet to become.”
Biográfico is a musical journey through different moments, experiences and transformations in the artistic journey of Peruvian guitarist and composer Fernando Salazar Boza. Through original compositions, he moves between world music, jazz, classical music aesthetics and contemporary music, while exploring a personal musical language shaped by Peruvian and South American traditions, including landó, zamacueca and festejo.
Each composition reflects a different part of this journey, bringing together musical influences, memories and encounters that have shaped his artistic identity. Rather than looking back at a finished chapter, Biográfico explores an ongoing process of change, discovery and reinvention.

Global Fest
Global Fest is an annual festival featuring students, teachers, alumni and special guests representing Sibelius Academy’s Global music programme. The global music studies embraces pluralistic, fluid approaches to sound, culture and identity, creating new hybrid musical spaces through intercultural dialogue and collaboration.
