Music Centre’s summer concert: Bruno Lima & Otto Kentala
A Brazilian cellist-composer Bruno Lima and a Finnish guitarist Otto Kentala are both award-winning musicians who together form a breathtaking duo combining Brazilian rhythms, dazzling virtuosity, heartwarming melodies and improvisation.
Duo Bruno Lima & Otto Kentala takes us on a journey through Brazilian landscapes with inspiring and uplifting performances. From Cartola’s samba to Villa-Lobos’ lyricism, from Pixinguinha’s choro to Mignone’s modinha, they travel around 300 years to give a little taste of the cultural diversity and flexibility of instrumental music in Brazil.

Access to the Musiikkitalo from the direction of Mannerheimintie will be difficult. We recommend that you allow enough time for your arrival and use the entrance on the side of Kansalaistori if possible.
