Uniarts Helsinki gets top marks from exchange students

International exchange students are very satisfied with the teaching that they have received at the University of the Arts Helsinki (Uniarts Helsinki). This feedback was gathered in 2016–2017 from students who had participated in an Erasmus exchange programme.

Out of all Finnish institutions of higher education, Uniarts Helsinki received the best ratings from exchange students for the content of the courses and the quality of the teaching methods in use. The quality of teaching at Uniarts Helsinki was ranked the highest also based on the previous survey period of 2015 to 2016.

Uniarts Helsinki was placed in the top three of Finnish universities when reviewing the feedback on whether the exchange studies provided skills and knowledge that students would not have learned at their home university. Based on the survey, the administrative support provided for exchange students is of the best quality at Uniarts Helsinki.

A total of 63 per cent of them were extremely satisfied with their exchange programme, while the Finnish average for general satisfaction concerning the experience was 54 per cent.
