Occupation of Uniarts Helsinki will end on Thursday, 12 October
The occupation of Uniarts Helsinki and the overnight sit-in on Uniarts Helsinki’s Sörnäinen campus will end on Thursday, 12 October.
On Thursday, 21 September, dozens of Uniarts Helsinki students joined a larger movement of protests against the Government’s budget cuts on livelihood by occupying the Sörnäinen campus lobby. Activities at Uniarts Helsinki have continued without interruptions during the occupation.
The occupation of Uniarts Helsinki will end on Thursday, 12 October. The tents that were previously brought to the area reserved for occupation will be moved from Uniarts Helsinki’s Kookos building lobby in the near future.
