This is a play of Browsing. Browsing is writing a play because everything has been a little bit mixed up recently and it’s hard to make moves.

Browsing has a fast-beating heart, many tabs open, and a friend called Holkeri. Holkeri is old, deep, massive, a very slow swimmer and blinded by parasites living in their eyes. On stage, some things get Mixed Up. Words go inside other words, body has a voice of its own, and feet are finding it hard to stand.

Techvoid I: Voider/Paavali Kärkkäinen
Techvoid I: Voider is an autofictive solo work by Paavali Velinpoika Kärkkäinen, in which choreography functions as a programmer of the body—a system that rewrites the performer internal code through signals, impulses, and disturbances. The piece moves along the boundary between the primitiveness of the human body and mechanical evolution, exploring how the contemporary body is reshaped by technology, overload, and e-motion.
Toxic masculinity, alienation, and existential bewilderment surface as the performer moves between different layers of being—animal, human, and artificial-intelligence. Moving on all fours, exploring the upright position, and transitioning between states, challenging the usual ways the body experiences itself without necessity of sight or touch.
Techvoid I: Voider portrays a figure who leaves behind emptiness as they travel through reality and across realms. The body acts as a vessel negotiating between architecture, technology, and instinct. It seeks freedom from control, examining what it means to be simultaneously mechanical and alive in a world where mechanization is accelerating.
