Miska Kukkohovi (b. 2001, Helsinki) is a visual artist, working mainly with painting. His practice is tinted with a desire to step away from anything that is real or immediate.

About the artwork

Worldbuilding is a collection of imaginary places in the format of a video game. You traverse various spaces that are connected through hallways, doors and portals. The spaces draw inspiration from dreams and Counter-Strike.

Lerp is a painting I made alongside the video game, inspired by its creation process. The painting mimics a texture atlas: a file that packs many textures into a bigger one in order to save computational power.
