Mikko Rekonen (b. 1985) works with figurative oil painting, exploring anxiety, trauma and fragmented identity. His practice centres on psychological fragility and a layered realism. Recent exhibitions include the Mänttä Art Festival 2025 and a solo exhibition at Galerie Pleiku in Berlin in 2024.
