Mari-Leen Kiipli

About the Artist

Mari-Leen Kiipli (b. 1988) is an installation artist whose practice includes sculpture, video and gardening. She is interested in our relation to water bodies and water supply systems and is looking into how social norms appear too often in environmental policies. Noticing details and personal associations in her surroundings, she asks what sort of characters these infrastructures produce and how they silently influence and direct our lives.
