You can accept the offer of admission with the link in the email that you have received (sender noreply@opintopolku.fi). Click the provided link and confirm your student place. If you have a Finnish social security number and Finnish online banking credentials (with e-identification enabled), mobile certificate or an electronic ID-card, you can accept the admission offer only by using the My Studyinfo service (https://opintopolku.fi/oma-opintopolku/). If you cannot accept your student place electronically, instructions for accepting the student place will be provided in the acceptance message sent by the Admissions Services.

Study voucher

The study voucher is a state-funded experiment that makes it possible to study a maximum of 30 credits of studies free of charge at an open university or an open university of applied sciences. If you belong to the target group, the state will support your studies. By using a study voucher, you get to see what university studies are like and try out study options that interest you, for example, during a gap year.

The study voucher is intended for young first-time applicants under the age of 29. You are entitled to a study voucher if you have completed an upper secondary qualification (graduated from an upper secondary school or an upper secondary vocational school) in Finland, applied for a higher education place in the joint application process and were left without a student place, or you have not accepted a student place. The study voucher can be used by those who graduated between 1 December 2025 and 30 June 2028.

The study voucher can be activated in the Opin.fi service starting from 5 August 2026. It is valid for two years from the date of activation.
