What is Creative Entrepreneur?
Creative Entrepreneur is a new selection of cross-institutional studies aimed at university students in the arts and cultural sector and other creative fields, allowing you to:
- Acquire the practical skills needed for running a business.
- Network with students and experts from different fields.
- Choose entrepreneurship-related studies from various higher education institutions.
- Develop your idea or project and turn it into reality.
- Build your own path as a professional and future entrepreneur.
The Creative Entrepreneur project is funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
Institutions participating in cross-institutional studies
The Creative Entrepreneur studies are organised collaboratively by various higher education institutions. The versatile selection of courses covers a broad range of topics and areas of expertise. The institutions involved are:
- Open Campus at Uniarts Helsinki (coordinator)
- Faculty of Art and Design at the University of Lapland
- Cultural Management Programme at Humak University of Applied Sciences
- LAB Institute of Design and Fine Arts
- Hanken School of Economics
How to join?
To participate in the studies, you must be a registered as an attending degree student at one of the higher education institutions participating in cross-institutional studies during the course period.
The registration period opens on 1 November 2025 at 8:00 and closes on 30 November 2025 at 23:59.
You can register for the studies by filling in the registration form, which will be published on 1 November on this website.
The cross-institutional studies and registration instructions for Autumn 2026 will be published on this website during Spring 2026.
