The musical Tick, Tick… Boom! composed by Jonathan Larson
Tick, Tick… Boom! is an autobiographical rock musical written and composed by Jonathan Larson (1960–1996) in 1991. In New York’s SoHo, young promising musical composer Jon, his friend Michael, and Jon’s girlfriend Susan each struggle with their own life crises. As Jon’s 30th birthday approaches, he works on his musical for the fifth year, hoping it will finally propel him to Broadway. The pressures of the artist’s life intertwine with career choices, dreams of success, friendship, and the complexities of relationships. The story is punctuated by Larson’s rock music reminiscent of the 90s. The musical will be performed in Finnish.

Mannerheimintie renovation project
Access to the Musiikkitalo from the direction of Mannerheimintie will be difficult. We recommend that you allow enough time for your arrival and use the entrance on the side of Kansalaistori if possible. According to current information, the entrance to Mannerheimintie will also remain in use throughout the renovation, but pedestrian routes can be challenging at times.
