THE FEAST
What is there to celebrate?
A gathering, a dance, a situation in-between.
A choreographic suggestion—where we allow ourselves to upload knowledge
embedded in our dancing bodies, as visitors in a landscape of physical memory
shaped by intense practices.
Celebrating layers upon layers of wisdom that the body carries: in a simple walk, a
shake of the pelvis, a small jump, a deconstructed gesture—each rhythm echoes the
resonance of a possible collective.
Can we use an old form and find new relations? Is it all an illusion?
Moving from gorgeousness to sadness, but it’s real. Back and forth, back and forth,
like a herd. It’s heavy, choose what you want to leave behind. Bonding like whales,
you arrive as one, you leave as another. Take a rest, share an inner smile, blink blink.
Why so serious? This is life.
