New Voices: Sofra Trio
Interdream: Where We Meet in Sound.
In this concert, Sofra Trio presents Interdream – a live concert experience where identities dissolve into sound and people come together beyond borders and words, meeting in a vibrational space of connection. Rooted in the musical traditions of Türkiye, Syria, Kosovo and Finland, the trio is shaped by the Nordic landscapes of their current home base. Curated by trio member Melisa Yıldırım, Interdream blends original compositions, arrangements and improvisation with reimagined heritage into a living, evolving dialogue.
On stage, voices, languages and instruments come together to build a collective sonic space. Personal stories, migration and memory are carried into sound, yet they transcend individual biographies, forming something universal and immediate. The concert unfolds as a sonic table – a place of gathering and exchange. Here, ancient modal tonalities meet present consciousness, and the audience becomes part of the vibrational architecture itself. More than a performance, Interdream is an invitation – to listen deeply, to resonate together and to meet in sound where music gently reshapes the shared dream of life on earth.
Performers
- Melisa Yıldırım – kamancha & lavta & vocal
- Merve Abdurrahmani – piano & vocal
- Hadi Hrekes – percussion & vocal
Changes are possible.
