Have you ever worried about what direction the world is going to? Have you ever felt desperate because you would like to see a change? Are you worried about the state of the Earth, global warming, natural disasters, wars, and crisis between nations? Do you see how isolation between people creates misunderstanding and mental issues?
We need each other. We need our planet. We need to have peace between us and support life on Earth. We need to take care and responsibility for our actions. We are all part of the nature and capable of living sustainably.
”Peace of wild things” is a musical call for action. It is a manifest towards international peace, mental health work and nature conservation. It is a collective moment of listening, sharing, and connecting. It is a reminder to rest, to love and not to give up.
The performance is the final concert of Iiris Tarnanen’s Global Music master’s degree studies. Originating from Finland, Tarnanen combines in this concert her skills as a cellist, singer and composer.
