About the artwork

Tall grass turns yellow and dies upright, growing from the bed. The continuous hum is broken by the cooing of a wood pigeon, while a strange light appears on the wall as a reminder of the passage of time. Light is a material that records lived moments as images; visual traces of memory, an error in time. Even those who have passed away continue their existence as images.

The work combines recycled materials, photography and moving images. It emerged from grief. During the process, I filmed, picked hay and started to reminisce.
