About the artwork

I seek to escape the conditions of language. I do not want to refer to anything else and want the work to be perceived as itself and that it always returns and refers back to itself. Knowledge and meaning are constructed in simple perception, in the visual and tactile – not in their interpretation. This work is made from simple materials: metal mesh, plaster, and coloured papier-mâché. It invites you into an encounter without words, into sensing.
