About the Artist

Fati Sarsaniia (b. 1989) works with sculpture, installation and performance. The works are empathic and often based on the artist’s personal experience. Themes such as coexistence, the use of the self as material, collective memory, and shared identity form the basis of her practice.

Untouched, unreached, unplayed, forgotten. 
Saved so carefully, it never met its function. 
A memory that dissolves. 
Objects lose their shape, turning into subjects of preservation, 
waiting for a moment that will never arrive.
