I have created my works using a drawing instrument of my own design that records both the lengths and quantities of the drawn lines. The titles of the works correspond directly to these measured values.

By using the device, my attention shifts away from consciously constructing an image. This allows the marks to emerge more freely. The system gives me peace of mind, as it removes the tension of having to plan ahead.

The works serve as proof of these moments and remind me of the importance of applying this approach in other areas of life as well.
