About the Artist

About the artwork

Lately, in my painting, I’ve been interested in colour and rhythm, as well as their various phenomena such as harmony, sinking, shifting or twisting. I’ve been painting quite intuitively, as I’ve wanted to explore the distinctive characteristics of my own expression. At the same time, I’ve been reflecting on the different painting styles in art history and contemporary art. How can the moods or messages they convey be communicated through their expressive qualities, even without a clear figurative subject?
