About the Artist

Eeri Halminen (b. 2003, Oulu) bases their practice on painting, continuing into moving image and installation. Halminen’s work merges individuality, community, culture, spirituality, nature, and digitality. In their work, they compose the absurdity of today in relation to the stable and universal. Could the unfoundedness of the present moment be harnessed as a unifying and supporting force of this generation?
