About the Artist

Daniel Niittymäki (b. 2001) is fascinated by everyday gadgets and spontaneous solutions. He is drawn to the colours and playfulness of his surroundings, and the confusion they create – how to find the time to bring every idea and thought to life when one pauses to marvel at even the smallest things.

I’ve got a little bit of everything in my work, and plenty of it. It’s all helter-skelter, a real mishmash: paints, shapes, fasteners, fabrics, colours, screws, figures, staples, balls, wood.
