About the artwork

The series of 13 paintings is composed of fragments of everyday mysticism, mythology, and folklore. It forms a collage in which the real and the imagined intertwine. Events intersect within shared spaces and atmospheres, yet the timeline is not linear.

There is a tendency to perceive connections between everyday observations that underline the works. Impressions that may not appear related become threads woven into a web of associations. The changes in individual paintings continuously affect one another’s contents. Changing the emphases thicken the connecting threads.
