It is especially designed for teaching and working with electronic and acousmatic music and can be adapted for various surround configurations. There is a dedicated audio interface to connect to a personal laptop. A Doepfer A-100 and Serge modular synthesisers are a great help, for example, in teaching sound synthesis.
