Q&A session on applying to the doctoral studies at the Sibelius Academy

Are you planning to apply to the doctoral studies at the Sibelius Academy? Join an info session on Monday 3rd of December 2018 at 16-17 in the Helsinki Music Centre room S-3101 (3rd floor).

This info session provides an opportunity to hear and ask questions about the practicalities of doctoral study admissions in all three study programmes: Artistic, research, and applied study programmes. Please note that this session is mainly about the practicalities related to the admission process and the content related matters are encouraged to discuss with the field specific professors. You do not need to enroll beforehand to this event.

Doctorates can be earned in three different study programmes: Arts, Research, or Applied Study. The student can choose the programme that best matches his/her skill profile, interests and goals.

Doctoral studies at the Sibelius Academy aim at experts capable of high-level creative and critical work that work in demanding art, research, development and educational tasks independently, and in collaboration with others in demanding art, research, development and educational positions. Doctors of Music also act as social influencers for an ethically sustainable future.
