A talk by visiting professor Emily Wardill
In her talk on the 4th October, Wardill will begin with her film Ben shown on 16mm as an introduction to her ambivalent relationship towards materialist film. The talk will trace a timeline where she will elucidate the evolution of her practice, thinking and research touching on many works including 'When you fall into a trance' and 'I gave my love a cherry that had no stone'. There will be a short break and then Wardill will screen her film 'No Trace of Accelerator' from 2017 and shown at Bergen Kunsthall, Gulbenkian, CPHDOX and The London Film Festival.
Talk will be followed by a Q & A.
