During the event, the world-class musicians from the Royal Concertgebouw orchestra and the Berlin Philharmonic will be teaching around 100 woodwind students from all around the world.

The tuition is a part of the Sibelius Summer Academy summer course for woodwinds. Sibelius Summer Academy is a summer study program offered by the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki, organized for the first time in Summer 2019. It offers young talents a chance to work and perform together with world-class teachers, artists and other students in an encouraging and inspiring international environment with state-of-the-art facilities.

Lessons for individual students are 45 minutes and the audience is welcome to enter the hall as the students change, so please don’t enter the class in the middle of tuition. More detailed teaching schedules can be found at each teaching venue’s door.
