Choral singing brings annually together all new students beginnning their studies at the Sibelius Academy.
Esittely
Sibelius-Akatemian fuksikuoro harjoittelee osana uusien opiskelijoiden johdantoperiodia ja esiintyy muulle Taideyliopiston yhteisölle lukukauden avajaisten yhteydessä.
Fuksikuoroprojektin keskeisenä ajatuksena on työskennellä yhdessä helposti lähestyttävän musiikin parissa.
Kuoroa johtavat yhteistyössä professori Nils Schweckendiek sekä lehtorit Jani Sivén ja Merja ”Merzi” Rajala.

The Sibelius Academy’s freshman choir rehearses as part of the orientation period for new students. It performs for the rest of the University of the Arts community in connection with the opening of the semester.
The central idea of the freshman choir is to work together on approachable music. The choir is led by professor Nils Schweckendiek and lecturers Jani Sivén and Merja “Merzi” Rajala.
