Theatre Academy

The admission procedure to the Doctoral Programme at the Theatre Academy in Helsinki 2017 has concluded. The Dean of The Theatre Academy has in accordance with the Doctoral Admission Boards proposal decided to admit five applicants as Doctoral Students of the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki to complete a Doctor in Theatre / Dance, starting fall 2017:

and one applicant who does not want his/her name published in the internet.

Academy of Fine Arts

The admission procedure to the Doctoral Programme at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki 2017 has concluded. The Dean of The Academy of Fine Arts has decided in accordance with the Doctoral Admission Boards proposal to admit five applicants as Doctoral Students of the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Arts Helsinki to complete a Doctor in Fine Arts degree, starting fall 2017:

Sibelius Academy

The admission procedure to the Doctoral Programme at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki 2017 has concluded. The Dean of the Sibelius Academy has in accordance with the Academic Council  proposal decided to admit fourteen applicants as Doctoral Students of the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki to complete a Doctor of Music, starting fall 2017:

By virtue of Section 82 of the Universities Act (558/2009), anyone dissatisfied with a decision in a matter concerning him/her may appeal the decision within 14 days of the publication of results. Applicants dissatisfied with the appeals procedure may seek rectification by appealing to the administrative court of Helsinki.

The request must be submitted to the registry within 14 days after the publication of the admissions decision. The appeal is to be addressed to the academy in question. The appeal must be in writing and it must be submitted to the University of the Arts Helsinki Registry by e-mail, or regular mail. Requests for appeals are sent at the sender’s own risk. If you submit the appeal request by e-mail, write the name of the appropriate academy on the subject line. The name and contact details of the appellant and the statement, as well as the grounds for the request, must be included.
