Registration for the Open University autumn courses has started

Registration for the Open University’s autumn courses at the University of the Arts Helsinki has begun on 6 August 2019 at 9:00 and will end on Tuesday, 20 August 2019, or Monday, 26 August 2019, depending on the course in question.

Uniarts Helsinki’s Open University offers the chance to delve into university studies in the arts, deepen one’s professional expertise, develop one’s competence during a gap year or simply enjoy the arts for fun. There are dozens of different courses and larger study modules in music, fine arts, theatre and dance available at Uniarts Helsinki’s Open University.

You can browse courses in the Open Campus course calendar by field of study, programme or key word. Autumn’s course catalogue includes Study module in business in the creative industries (Luovan liiketoiminnan opintokokonaisuus, 20 cr), Teacher’s creative methods in folk music pedagogy (Kansanmusiikkipedagogiikan luovat menetelmät opettajan työssä, 6 cr), Site and situation specific art: LightArtLight (Paikka- ja tilasidonnainen taide: ValoTaideValo, 4 cr), Recording and sound production (8 cr), and Immersive Theatre (Immersiivinen teatteri, 2 cr), just to name a few examples.

It is also possible to study alongside degree students, as dozens of Uniarts Helsinki’s bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral-level courses have spots available also for Open University students. Registration for these courses will end on 20 August 2019.
