Exchange students: Uniarts Helsinki’s teaching is of top quality
Exchange students are extremely pleased with the quality of teaching that they have received at the University of the Arts Helsinki (Uniarts Helsinki), according to feedback from students who have participated in an international exchange programme. Based on the feedback, Uniarts Helsinki ranks the highest among Finnish universities in the categories ‘Highest teaching quality satisfaction’ and ‘Highest course quality satisfaction’.
Uniarts Helsinki achieved a top three spot among Finnish universities also when comparing exchange students’ ratings for their overall satisfaction with their exchange experience.
The ranking was compiled using participant reports that were filled in between 2015 and 2016 by exchange students who participated in the Erasmus+ programme. The results were presented at an event organised by the Finnish National Agency for Education (formerly CIMO) for Erasmus+ mobility coordinators at the end of April.
Uniarts Helsinki students who participated in an exchange programme in a European institution of higher education also gave excellent ratings for their exchange experience. Out of all students in Finland, they were the most satisfied with the administrative support arrangements provided by their home university.
All in all, the Erasmus+ participant reports prove that incoming exchange students are extremely satisfied with their exchange experience and the quality of teaching that they receive in Finland.
Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport with partners from the EU countries, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Turkey and Macedonia. The programme grants scholarships for studies, traineeships and work placements abroad.
