René Marie (USA)
René Marie (b. 1955) did not become a professional singer until later in life; she signed her first recording deal in 1999. She is a soulful singer also known as a composer, arranger, stage actor and teacher. Her music shows influences from jazz legends like Ella Fitzgerald and Dinah Washington and from sources as varied as folk, R&B, country and even classical music. Her most recent album, Sound of Red, was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Jazz Vocal Album category in 2016.

Riikka Keränen Resonance (FIN)
Born in Oulu, Riikka Keränen represents a younger generation of Finnish jazz singers. Despite her young age, she has been involved in a lot of things, as a backup singer and a bass player in a variety of ensembles. She has pursued jazz studies at the Guildhall School of Music in London, at the Malmö Music Academy and at the Department of Jazz at the Sibelius Academy. She performs moody, touching and powerful interpretations of her own pieces and familiar jazz standards.
