This has resulted in a steady stream of new works that find new forms of expression for the accordion. Performances are given by students, alumni and teachers of the Sibelius Academy. In collaboration with the Finnish Association for Accordion Teachers.

Sibelius Academy Accordion Festival

Sibelius Academy students and teachers will join forces to educate audiences on the 200-year history of the accordion and the wide range of accordion music, including everything from folk music to the latest chamber music.
