Ac/kademie is a series of artist-lead conversations that is broadcast alternately from the Jan van Eyck Academie and the Rijksakademie.
Ac/kademie is a series of conversations about art and artistic work. In the series, international artists discuss their own artistic processes, thinking and starting points as artists with students of the Academy of Fine Arts. Ac/kademie creates an informal setting for peer-to-peer exchange and community building among visual artists at different stages of their careers as well as art enthusiast around the world.
The discussions will be broadcast as webinars alternately from two renowned post-academies in the Netherlands, the Jan van Eyck Academie and the Rijksakademie. The conversations artists-in-residence of these academies. Ac/kademie is organized in cooperation with Uniarts Helsinki’s Academy of Fine Arts and the Saastamoinen Foundation.
Anyone interested in art is welcome to follow the discussions online on Zoom, YouTube, or Vimeo. The discussions are in English, and the event will be recorded.
