Global Fest: Impro Ensemble + Kino Club

Global Impro Ensemble + Kino Club: Experimental film and music show

The Global Impro Ensemble embraces students from the different programs at the Sibelius Academy and dance students from the Theater Academy, in order to develop skills for creating experimental music and dance performances in real time. For this occasion, the Ensemble will bring along a show full of visual, sonic and performative experiences collected by the interaction of its members during an intensive course-laboratory period conducted by Sergio Castrillón. Together with the Helsinki-based experimental film collective “Kino Club”, and by merging diverse artistic and cultural backgrounds, the ensemble will share a unique way of creating improvised pieces in different line-ups, while interacting with a series of experimental short films. You are welcome to join us for this experience!
