Adriano Adewale – Hidden Sounds

Adriano Adewale’s first doctoral degree concert explores the essence of music making through the berimbau

This concert by Adriano Adewale is part of his artistic research, which explores the essence of music making through the berimbau, an Afro-Brazilian musical bow. It investigates in which ways musicians express and communicate, using a minimum amount of tools.

The dialogue between traditional and new innovative approaches to berimbau performing techniques and the collaboration with musicians from diverse backgrounds, creates possibilities for new ways of making music to emerge.

The concert is Adriano Adewale’s first doctoral degree concert in MuTri Doctoral School.
