Teija Löytönen

Teija Löytönen holds a Master’s degree in education (University of Helsinki), and earned her Doctor of Arts in dance by studying discourses in dance institutions (Theatre Academy Helsinki). Currently she works as an Academy Research Fellow at the School of Arts, Design and Architecture in Aalto University. Her particular research interests include higher arts education, arts-based academic development, as well as collaborative inquiry in relation to professional development and knowledge creation. She has published in several national and international refereed journals, and presented her research in various networks such as the Congress on Research in Dance, the European Educational Research Association, and the International Congress of Qualitative Inquiry.
